A DAY OF PRAYER

Word of the Lord in 2022

Many believe that the prophetic words God sends for His people are linear, and begin and end just like the days on a calendar. I challenge that belief with this - the prophetic words are not linear but are instead being compounded and governed by times and seasons the Lord Himself appoints and defines. There are times when the boundary of a season may align with the days on the calendar [a year], but the calendar year is not God's primary focus. Our God and heaven are eternal - neither are limited to time as a function on a clock or days in the natural man's annual. God's word to us, both written and spoken, is His manifold wisdom and His will. The manifold wisdom of God is complex, deep, vast, and unending. What great news to the Believer! God's children should expect the good news of the words the Lord proclaimed to us, through prophecy, should go onward and will continue until they are fulfilled according to God's divine plan. Each prophetic word finds its duration and capacity in Him, according to our faith! Daniel 2 and Acts 1 convey this very principle to us. We should also understand and take hold of the fact that as the Lord speaks new words to us for example at the coming of a new year, His blessings are meant to be added to one another the way God intends; not exchanged one at a time. When we limit God's instruction, prophecy, and counsel to one or two years on a calendar, we leave our blessings on the proverbial table and often miss the fullness of experience and expression purposed for us by the Lord.

One night during my prayer time, I began to ask the Lord if He still meant for the words that He'd spoken to me in previous years to come to pass in my life or if had He changed direction. I had been waiting and looking for open doors, but it seemed nothing was happening...I asked Him if He still wanted to do those things in my life. Here is His answer and He asked me to share it with you here. If you are willing; receive the word of the Lord over your life and circumstances.

"I will provide for you to find the way (to where you're going that I've designed and purposed for you). I will provide for you to find a way in the desert where it seems like there is no way - to find an open door - I made a way for you. I opened it, says the Spirit of the Living God, the Lord of Hosts and of angel armies. Amen." ~November 1, 2021
"I have it (I'm taking care of the situation), says the Name of the Lord, an open door for you. You have to walk through it by faith says the Lord of Glory. I AM to you an open door. I AM your open door to faith, by faith in the name of Jesus - Yeshua Messiah. I AM opened up to you for the glory of God in glory, power, blessing, and honor forever! There is no end to it (how long His blessings will last in the earth), in the name of Jesus forever. Amen! I AM your blessing. I AM your glory. I AM your honor. Forever and ever. Amen!" ~October 31, 2021

Are You Leaving Your Destiny Up for Grabs?

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) declares. In context, this verse is referencing the children of Israel behaving wickedly toward God; forgetting their knowledge of His character and nature to pursue wicked and ungodly passions and behaviors. However, this same verse applies to us today. When we don't know what belongs to us because we've failed to understand the Lord's intentions towards us, or correctly apply them to what He speaks prophetically - we are left robbed of the benefits God wants us to possess. Prophecy is like a road map for the Believer - it testifies to Jesus' good plan for us and guides us to what He has already done for us through His blood. The good works He predestined for us to walk in and every blessing that pertains to the godly life He planned for us to live were finished before the earth was made (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Peter 1:3, Hebrews 4:3). Each prophetic word the Lord speaks to us, whether privately or as a word for the new year - is designed to guide, equip, prepare, correct, and move us; from outside of our God-given destiny, into our God-given destiny, and into divine alignment with His purpose. The plans, strategies, wealth, and resources of the Lord are made known and accessible to us in unique ways through prophecy in combination with the written word of God. It is our job to hold onto His word. It is also our job to have our hope and trust which is fueled by the love of God, squarely placed in Him forever.

According to Your Faith.

Some prophetic words from the Lord are conditional; which means if we take certain actions we can trigger the manifestation of whatever the Lord is declaring to us, or prevent an occurrence by changing our course (eg. "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)). There are other words from the Lord which are declarative of a predestined event that no one or thing can stop or change because they are connected to God's overarching plan of restoration. The coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah into the earth as fully God and fully man is a wonderful example of this truth (Isaiah 9:6-7). And, there are other words still that reveal to us God's good plans for us if we will walk with Him by faith; such as what was spoken to the children of Israel when being delivered out of bondage when they were slaves in Egypt. In all cases, we must enter in by faith to cooperate with our heavenly Father. The birth mother [Mary] and adoptive father [Joseph] of Jesus had to believe God for the fruition of His word just like the children of Israel had to believe. In all cases, the participant's faith was required by God to start and continue the journey with Him; and all had to release corresponding words and actions to their faith to finish the process (Hebrews 10:35-39).

What we say repeatedly is more telling of what we believe than anything else, and is closely followed by what we do. For this reason, begin to declare those prophetic words you've received from the Lord over and over, and confess your trust in God's ability and willingness to bring them to pass. Instead of speaking against the Lord's written or spoken word concerning you, earnestly expect the fulfillment and manifestation of His word without fear, doubt, or anxiety (Luke 12:32; Philippians 4:6). Determine not to allow discouragement to creep into your heart or mind because you expected the prophetic words to come to pass according to your own timeline. Protect the word spoken into your life and into your heart. Allow those prophetic words to take root in you and bring forth an abundant harvest in your life. Keep the word of God, and the words He's spoken over your life, before your eyes and in your mouth in a positive and confident way! Align your thinking, hope, and expectation with God's perspective - He is always and only doing you good. Then, you will make your way prosperous and have good success! Don't judge the value of what God said by what your eyes see around you. Judge by what God said and His inability to lie, just like Abraham and Sarah did (Hebrews 6:18, Hebrews 11:11, Matthew 23:37). Remember the thief comes to persecute, discourage, discredit, and steal the word of God sown in your heart as well as steal your fruitful harvest (Mark 4:14-20). Don't let him! The thief will attack your mind with thoughts of fear, failure, embarrassment, rejection, it's been too long, and even death to try to stop you. Don't accept any lies. Instead, renew your mind with the truth. Move from "I will be..." statements to "I am..." statements because faith is always in the present tense. The moment the word left God's mouth concerning you, the Holy Spirit declared it and the subject of the prophecy became yours! You're not waiting for it to appear in your eyesight to know that it is yours. It's been yours and it is yours now. The manifestation of those prophetic words is God's part, and He always keeps His word - He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). Keep believing Him and prepare for the fulfillment of God's promises to you daily. Look back over the words the Lord has previously spoken over your life and over each new year. Gather them up and add them together to understand a more full picture of where you're going and the plans the Spirit of Living God has for you! Keep them before your eyes. Persist by faith. Believe God. Combine your faith with His word, enter in, and look forward to the good things the Lord has in store for you (1 Timothy 1:18; Hebrews 4:2-3)!
